Along with this year's 'The Next Level' events we aim to further enhance and support artists in Australia we would like to include a range of Eyejack workshops to showcase different styles and techniques established artists use to augment their works.
EyeJack brings art to life with animation and sound. Their Augmented Reality technology has the magical power to evoke wonder and challenge your perception of reality and provide a new perspective and sensory experience.
Alexander Mitchell is an Australian born curator, photographer, filmmaker and artist. Alexander has spent the last decade promoting and developing communities of artists in Australia and Japan.
Alexander sees his art, film, photography and curatorial work as products of the same process; “I naturally feel the need to organise things into groups, with new meaning – a kind of obsessive tendency. As a curator I sort artists and artwork, as an artist I sort symbols”
The workshop will take place in the venues ‘The Next Level’ is being showcased in, and will give creatives the opportunity to learn how to use the Eyejack creator, some basic animation techniques, how to create AR murals and tattoos and end up with a simple animation.
